I never doubt that arboretums full of beautiful flowers, koi and bridges are much more interesting than me and my camera, especially to a 2 year old. So, I usually pretend that there might be a squirrel sneaking up on me, or a bird, or anything else I might think of that might get a [...]

…I stole the title from the company Mom (Kimbra) says she works for…pretty accurate if you ask me! Saturday was a wonderful day for a photo shoot. We were able to shoot early thanks to clouds diffusing the sun. Since we were shooting early, we didn’t have much competition from other photographers for prime picture [...]

Let it be said, Aidan is officially the easiest 2 year old I think I have ever taken pictures of! This session was actually a family session (cute family pictures will eventually end up on my website but for now I am not posting them so they can make their debut on Christmas cards)! Thanks [...]

I enjoyed meeting Adrian and his family this past weekend thanks to another little client of mine who referred this family to me. Adrian is buddies with little Davis, another adorable 4 month old who appears earlier on my blog. Adrian was all smiles throughout his entire session with the exception of a 10 minute [...]

Every time I photograph a family with more than 2 kids I get a little nervous, especially when some of the little ones are younger than 4. Of course, it helps having a camera that can take almost 4 frames per second continously (which is what I often shoot to make sure I get all [...]
Angels Among Us

I love getting to photograph this family because not only did I capture the birth of their first daughter, Drew, but their second daughter, Dani, as well. I knew leaving their house that I had some good pictures of the whole family, and a few of the three little angels together but I wasn’t too [...]

At almost 17 months old, I spent this session catching up with Darbi’s mom Dina and following her all over the place as she took in all the sites. I think the only time she slowed down was at the Koi pond to have a conversation with the big white fish. I can’t wait to [...]

Little Davis is on my “Watch Me Grow” plan and, boy! has he grown since his newborn session! We did a few pictures at home and then headed to his first visit to a local pumpkin patch. We propped him in pumpkins, stuck him in this hollow log, and pretty much pooped him out! Great [...]
