Photography has been in my blood ever since I was given my first camera at the age of 9. Luckily for me, my Mom had just given me a new baby sister/model. Poor Kathy was forced to grow up posing and primping for my camera. Today she will tell you that it was a horrific experience but then I have to ask "If it was really all that bad, why did she trust me with her engagement and Christmas pictures???" I went on to take photography classes at North Texas while
obtaining my degree in graphic design. I interned with D Magazine and got to enjoy attending incredible photo shoots, and I went on to work with a company as a gracphic designer in which we got to use one of the first digital cameras ever known to man (can't say I would use any of those pictures in my portfolio!) :o)
Hello World! Photography came to life in the summer of 2006 when I realized that I didn't know any photographers who made hospital visits
for one of the most important moments in a human's life, their birth! My job initially was to capture the faces of those who already love the new little being & the moments that surround such the blessed event of a birth. As my little clients grew, their families would come back to me for photo sessions. Now, I not only do births, but newborns, young children and maternity as well.
